sold my first piece of art!

and Im super excited! Ive always given painting and stuff Ive made away but today I sold this junx , the Madonna and Child I picked up from a flea market and repainted.



I sold it to Mandy Ward and also got a sweet ass painting that she did..



.I love it and cant wait to take it home! Thank you so much Mandy!!!

what a mouthful. thats what she said. things have been busy as hell at the studio as of late and I havent had much time to do many paintings. Im still catching up on some scragglers (drawings I need to get done) to be completely caught up from my Sick Week of WTF. Halloweeny flash!!! up for grabs 10/5

I started this project a week or so ago naively thinking it would be done by October 1st (pssh, yeah right) with the 'Carnival' Art Show at the studio coming up (Oct 15th!!), trying to get paintings together for that and trying to organize and plan for a Halloween party at my house, get my costume, etc...uh. well lets just say Im only submitting two paintings to the art show. I wanted to do 3, but its probably not going to happen. Ive wanted to do a tattoo flash set for a while, and basically its just a bunch of designs I did, for the occasion and some of them compiled from sketch books I've had for a few years. Altogether there are about 60 designs, ready to get hammered in your flesh I cant say I will offer them at a discount, because lets face it, tattoos are not one of those things you want to get at a discount.  however!!! 🎨 Creative Compulsion 🎨 pattern coloring book- First glance and 4 free DIY print & color sheets!

After a few months of working on geometric and repeating patterns, Creative Compulsion is complete! Its a little different than the Heavy Heart mandala books, but just as intricate - if not more. Its finally  available on Amazon , and I'm so happy to share it with everyone :-) As far as specs go its 8x10 inches with a glossy cover. I wanted to go with a matte finish again but for some reason the selection kept getting kicked back to glossy - I think it may have something to do with the trim size, but I can't say for sure. Creative Compulsion - A Coloring Book of Offbeat Motifs Each of the 35 pattern pages are printed on a single sheet, meaning even if you do have bleed through due to markers or pens, it won't ruin a design on the other side. And even though I feel the paper is a good thickness and  quality I still recommend using a scrap piece of paper to protect from bleed, especially for markers.
